Great reply, Dick, even if you couldn't ID the 2nd player. (And by the way,
I really don't know who he is, and am really trying to find out, so if
anyone does know for certain, please post.)I'm going to send Jerry's
publicity team your "...a more than adequate player" line as a suggested
promo quote. Your comment about clarity of pronunciation transferring over
to reso is a great observation. (But in defense of the 2nd vocalist, I
would like to hear how well any vocalists on this list perform in
Japanese...) In Laurie Lewis's recorded works, you have the opportunity to
hear how three different dobro players back her up: Sally Van Meter, Jerry,
and Rob. An interesting study!
