Im pretty sure Snuffy Jenkins was the real innovator of the three finger style
.
of picking . Well lets say im sure he was doing it before Earl.
I just finished reading a book titled the legacy of two legends ,
Snuffy Jenkins and Pappy Sherrill .
Its a really good read when its cold outside .
We all owe alot to these two fellows, they influenced many Banjer players and
fiddlers .
And i believe were the first to be touring musicians ,full time
It was written by a friend of mine Pat Ahrens shes a real history buff and an
excellent musician as well .

them, he never called them rolls. Actually I believe the technique is a
old as the Lute.
