Tom,
I'm looking forward to my 4th Joe Val festival. Great band lineup -
including Blue Highway as the finale act on Sunday. Several listers (not me
this time) will be at Stacey Phillips' master class on Friday. And Richie
and his band, Pine Hill Ramblers, are opening Sunday's stage show.
Looking forward to seeing you there,
Andy

Hi Richie and List,
Sounds like some interesting developments are happening in the world of
resos: Beard goes high tech; Scherhorns approaching the $8,000 mark; and
Andy Hall with a new solo reso CD to name a few highlights. All of this is
terrific news for those of us introducing resos to new audiences. Makes
practicing all the sweeter...
Question: Who's going to be at the Joe Val event from this list? Are there
any plans to have a little reso pickin' circle like the one Betty hosted in
Nashville at IBMA? That was surely fun and would be great to replicate at
Joe Val. Any interest? Of course, it will be great to all of you again.
Twangs,
Tom

web-site and didn't see anything like that mentioned.> > There was a rather
unique resonator-electric guitar shown that was green, with no coverplate

for bottle neck blues style playing. Interesting.> > With the new design
coverplates, and instruments like the one I just described, you can kinda
compare Paul Beard & Beard Guitars with the old tv show featuring Captain
Kirk and the Starship Enterprise......like Capt. Kirk.......Paul is taking
reso-guitars where NO reso-guitars have ever gone before!!!> > Twangin from
