Mr. Johnson, I printed out your post.
I should have stuck with the key of G example you provide.
I'm still not sure how to figure out a diminished 4# chord in ANY key, but, from
G, I should be able to chart it out somehow.
I DO get the passing chord theory, and why diminished chords work. I can hear
it.
I just need to figger out the math, and then match it to my ears, over and over.
Till I GET it.
