I've got JUST enough knowledge to make me annoying to others. *G*
And I intend to work that to the max!!! lol
I also have a great music teacher locally, I'm always tapping into, for some of
this stuff.
And she continues to pepper me with music theory to force me to learn. That's a
GOOD teacher, and a good thing! *G*
Your explanation of how I was READING it wrong is a great leap forward for me,
as was your first comment.
Like you, I wanna know what they are saying when they speak theory. *G*
I'm still counting out intervals on my fingers though. It's in my ears, the
basic stuff, but the diminished and more sophisticated stuff beyond 1,4,5 chord
patterns for songs, and the 1,3,5 triads of major chords, continues to haunt me.
I love being haunted with this stuff! *G*
