Ron Bean you post Right N Rightous.
10K Hours. OH MY!
Oh well.
G'luck with the auto harp.
Mimi Farina. She ripped that auto harp, post Maybelle Carter style.
Mimi N Richard Farina.
Richard was/is the BADDEST dulcimer player on the planet till he died, too
young, in the mid 60's.
Mimi N Richard went electric at Newport Folk Fest, same year Dylan did, I think.
'65?
N Richard Farina wrote "Been Down So Long It Looks Like Up to Me".
Richard died in '66, thrown from a motorcycle on Carmel Valley Road, off of
Highway 1. South of Monterey, and Carmel, CA.
Dylan had Butterfield, Bloomfield, Bishop, Naftlin maybe, Arnold and Davenport.
Mimi N Richard had others not so famous, but good players. Bruce Langhorn played
great git and produced a lot of Richard N Mimi's stuff.
They are said to have BLOWN The Bob Away, at that Newport Fest, where Bob went
Electric. N then, Richard died.
Dulcimers, I love them. I own one. I've played it 30+ years now.
Minor, and modal. Like Seldom Scene, so often. N Doc Watson stuff with Merle.
Wait A Minute. I digress.
N so, that's why, I tend to favor and play to, my cd's that have that minor and
modal to them.
St. Mike knows his modal and minor. *G* They all do.
And I love it, on a reso.

That's My Story, And I'm Sticking To It!"
