Goood morn'n folks.... The sun's shinniong here in Alabama, and the biscuits
are hot from the oven .... I might interject a bit of bad experience from
guitar stands.... I suffered the sad experience, having one of the stands with
what looks like yellow surgical rubber covering the neck rests and lower
rests... It didn't take long at all for these supports to eat holes thru the
finnish
on a $4,000 custom ... Both sides of the neck were desolved right down to the
wood..... So if you don't want your favorite reso to spend a lot of time in a
UPS truck Runn'n back and forth to be refinnished ..... BEWARE.... I also
have a couple stands with back foam type rubber, they don't apppear to effect
anything....... But just to be safe I Striped up an old "T" shirt, And Momma
sewed up some soft cotton tubes to cover the all of the the rubbers....Now all
my reso's sit on soft cotton sleeves, just "smilin" away....I just hate to see
anything happen to anybodies GEETAR.....Take care and happy twang'n.....
