Then keep the bag in a cool and dark place. Surgical
rubber tubing (available in larger cities at medical
supply houses) is attacked by oxygen and ultraviolet
light which makes ozone. This hardens the rubber,
causing it to lose its elasticity and crack and fail.
The door shelf of your freezer seems like an excellent
place.
