Subject:Re: [RESOGUIT-L] truss rod wrench

From:reso-man <reso-man @.......net>

Hi Cam,

I've been watching this thread, and I've had a situation like this with a round
neck Gretsch Sho-Bro, and it seems I remember a deep socket did the trick just
fine, but that was ten or more years ago when I was just starting to mess around
with reso guitars. To answer Larue's question, on some of the round neck guitars
Larry, that can be played either spanish style or hawaiian style....(our way with
the steel slide) so the thinner round neck guitars have a truss rod to keep the
neck straight. Square neck guitars made only for "our way" of playing would not
need this device.

I'd be careful adjusting that nut Cam, I'd take the tension off the neck by
loosening the strings, etc.

Probably something best left alone, do ya think?

Richie
