There ya go Larue,
It's the analog to digital or whatever it is, that's confusing me. That's a
whole nother world! I've already got my sound card's output.....ok the puter's
output.....run thru a shielded cable to my nice old Yamaha MT2X 4 tr. cassette
recorder's input, that in turn feeds a amp and eventually a pair of Bose
bookshelf speakers, so yeah, I put all my cds into the computer's "my music"
section and play them back to practice along with Jr. Barber and others.
This "dobro chat room" that's getting started, wanted me to hook a mic to my
computer in order to talk, rather than type, and to actually play, as these guys
play tunes back and forth for each other.
Mandatory dobro content is, we're PLAYING dobros......O;-)
Obviously this "chat room" will never take the place of this list, when it comes
to sharing information, but once you've got the rattles and clunks and buzzes
fixed, it's kinda fun to go and PLAY these things for others who appreciate them.
