Hey Andy,
I bought a "Logitech" from (I think) Best Buy that plugs right into the usb port
and it seems to work great. I bought it to participate in Eric Abernathy's Dobro
"Chat Room" where dobro nuts can "chat" via typing....or.....if you click on
the mic icon, a little raised hand icon pops up beside your name, and in
sequence, when it's your turn, your mic goes live, and you can play for the
others in the room!
Talk about a great way of sharing ideas! The first time I went in, who shows up
but Rene from Estonia. Shhhh, but I believe he was at work.....geez.
So far, the attendance in Eric's chat room seems to run about 5 to 7 or 8
atendees, depending on the time, but what pure fun!
I'm trying to spread the word for Eric, so if anyone wants contact information
on this new "forum", feel free to mail me off list, and I'll do my best to get
you hooked up.
Meanwhile.....KEEP TWANGIN', it's good for ya!
Richie
