Hal,
I guess technically the H2 can act as a mic, but you have to connect it,
turn it on, run its batteries...while the usb mic connects to the usb port
(or hub, in my case) permanently and is always there, on, for me to record
with (or, if Richie insists, play in the chat room - which I don't think
I'll do often). I ordered it, so I'll let you know how it goes.
