I just returned from the First Wilmington (De) Wintergrass. What a weekend.
The festival was set up to highlight local talent. I didn't realize that there
was so many great bluegrass bands in this region.
Got to see a number of Dobro players that I hadn't heard before. Ethan Hughes
gave a superb performance with the band Fretloose. This is a very talented band.
Ethan's vocals get better every day and his Dobro playing was right on.
Great Job Ethan. Great performance Fretloose.
The Wilmington event is set up to be an annual event. I no longer need to be
envious of those close to the Joe Val gathering.
But once again the Reso players held their own and demonstrated why the
popularity continues to grow.
