Mike Witcher is a great instructor the first thing he will ask is: How many
different rolls ( there are about 60 and at a minute each about an hour just
doing that) you practice daily and do you know all your scales on the fret board.
These are in his book before any tunes.

I'll be there in 2 weeks on a business trip, but I'm working in as much fun
as I can. Saturday night at the Grand Ole Opry (I've never been), Sunday
night at the Station Inn jam, Monday night at the Station Inn for the Time
Jumpers, and a lesson with Mike Witcher on Tuesday.
There used to be an open jam at the Gibson showcase on Monday nights, but I
understand the entire pub is closed down now(?)

After a long hard winter, Shirley and I decided we are overdue for a trip.
We decided since we have never been to Nashville, we would head off that way
in a few weeks to allow for a little more warmer weather. Hopefully we will
be able to listen to some dobro pickers and catch a few shows, then mosey on
over into Kentucky to see what we can stir up there.. Any Suggestions out
there in the Reso World
