Hi Rod and Jim and Listers,
Do you think it could be because Alison is a musician, as well as a singer?
Alison plays a pretty mean fiddle, and so she probably appreciates what the
musicians do to "present" a singer's vocal talents to the listening audience.
Not to take away from Emmy Lou, and Dolly's talents, and I've always considered
Dolly to be one of the last great American poets.....well......song writers,
anyways.
Just another example of "different strokes" and "your mileage may vary" etc.
Twangs forever,
Richie
