Well, as long as we're on the subject, you don't want to miss the chance to
listen to Ferrell's wonderful "Homage" to Burkett (uncle Josh) Graves. His takes
on the classics from Josh's songbag are spotless, tasteful, and also fresh. It's
a real homage. My only gripe on Stobro's Blues (am I allowed? maybe not) is the
use of echo in the mixing of the dobro. It's a big resonant sound from his jumbo
Harlow and in my (ever-so) humble opinion, it could do with a dry-er sound. But
I
love that record, Richie.
