Subject:Re: [RESOGUIT-L] Stobro's Blues...who's Ferrell Stowe?

Hi, Jim Norman, and fellow listers,

Ferrell Stowe is IMHO, one of the masters of dobro who so far, for whatever
reason, has (to me anyways) been "under the radar." I had to replace my computer
(ugh) so all of my cd's have to be input into the new one, also our little
regional band, www.pinehillramblers.com is "hard at it," getting ready to go
into the studio to record our 3rd cd, in a couple of weeks, so my time has been
rather limited.

I'll take a second tho, to thank Tom Foote, for bringing Ferrell's music to my
attention. Just hit "search" and "Ferrell Stowe" is how I got to Ferrell's web
site and when you listen to the sound clips, you will understand why Jim and
myself are impressed by Ferrell's playing.

My next purchase, when things quiet down a bit around here, will be one of the
albums of Sacred songs I remember seeing on Ferrell's web-site. Also there's
info that Ferrell is working on music for an upcoming movie!

The "Golden Age" of reso indeed!

Happy "twangin,"

Richie
