I just got a Travelite. It is not a Gig Bag but it's as light as a bag and a
lot more protection. What a relief after carrying heavy cases. It offfers a lot
more protection than the Summit bag that I have. I understand that Summit is no
longer making the bag that I have so thats why I didn't recommend it.
In summary the Travelite will protect your instrument under normal circumstances
and is very light. I wonder how much weight it would take. It almost seems to
me that it could handle airplane checking. Someday I might find out.
I got it from Musicians Friend for $69 plus shipping.
