Ok, let's get of the Gig bag...
I'm looking at buying a new guitar...I have a store near me, that has
several Beard E bodies, but they have no R bodies...but the R bodies are
around $1000.00 US less than the E body
What would I be missing out on by buying an R body vs an E body, I only ask
because I cannot try out an R body.

I just got a Travelite. It is not a Gig Bag but it's as light as a bag and
a lot more protection. What a relief after carrying heavy cases. It
offfers a lot more protection than the Summit bag that I have. I understand
that Summit is no longer making the bag that I have so thats why I didn't
recommend it.
In summary the Travelite will protect your instrument under normal
circumstances and is very light. I wonder how much weight it would take.
It almost seems to me that it could handle airplane checking. Someday I
might find out.
I got it from Musicians Friend for $69 plus shipping.
