I'm grinning here Dan,

Didn't I mention something about the "Innocent Bystanders" about to lose their
innocence? Or did I just dream that?

Ahhh yes, the Pine Hill Ramblers' smash hit, "Two Chairs for Ray & Alice", penned by
our prolific banjo jockey, Doug Downey, (and not every banjo jock can write,
remember) includes the words with regards to putting on a bluegrass festival

All you need's a web-site
To let everybody know,
Where and when to come and see the show.
Fires & fiddles
Kids & "vittles"

PRAY THE WEATHER'S FAIR!!!! (that's MY fav. line folks, right there)

Two Chairs for Ray & Alice, (those are New England's #1 bluegrass fans,)
And their's bluegrass in the air!

I should add that Ray passed away shortly after Doug wrote this song, but I saw
Alice and she says I'm still "her fella" (along with countless others.)

Anyways Dan, SPREAD THE WORD.....I've seen your postings in NEBGRASS, but "if
they don't know......they won't show."

Also best of luck to you and everyone with this, I'm sorry I have conflicting
obligations or else I'd be there rooting for you.

Richie

ps. there's another verse of "Two Chairs" that mentions "porta-johns" and I
don't believe you'll find THOSE mentioned in the lyrics of a bluegrass tune all
that often. In fact, I think we might've scored a "first"............O;-)

More grins..............
