As others have suggested, you many want to find a more comfortable set
of finger picks, although IMHO it is usually just a matter of needing
to learn how to properly fit whatever picks you are using. Use a pair
of needle-nose pliers to adjust the shape of the bands until they
match the shape of your finger. The idea is to have the picks fit
comfortably and securely without any pressure points. Picks don't
need to be tight if they are shaped properly.
When I first started using finger picks I spent weeks fussing with the
fit until I got it just right. Now I shape new picks to match the
previous set and they are ready to go.
