Tom,
I remember a case similar to what you were talking about--stumbled across it
when I was researching Travelite cases. I'm not sure, but this may be what
you're thinking of:
http://www.finecases.com/browse/guardian-cases/guardian-cases-3009.html
They seem to be made by these guys:
http://www.guardiancases.com/Featherweight.706.0.html
To further confuse the issue, Saga makes Travelite and a very similar case
also called Featherweight, which looks identical to the Travelite except
maybe for the position of the hygrometer (I prefer the placement on the
Travelite):

Confused yet? I sure am. I don't know anything about the Guardian
Featherweights or which, if any, would work for a reso. I can tell you that
the triangular Saga Travelite Dobro Classic will fit a Meredith, a
Scheerhorn L-Body, but will not fit a 1970 OMI roundneck Dobro. Go figure.
Good luck.
Jim Norman
