I have several black walnut trees on my property. All probably planted by
squirrels. The largest may be equal in size to yours. The neighbor behind me
has one in her front yard that is definitely in that size class.
Sadly, I doubt either of us would live long enough to cut and dry one of these
for use.
OTOH, my wife has a beautiful Brazilian Rosewood china cabinet in the dining
room. It is long since cured and aged. Of course, I probably would not survive
cutting that down either.
