Likewise - no experience of using the things. But a limiter on the monitor
feed buss to prevent sudden pressure spikes when the drummer hits the snare
mic with his sticks is essential, I have heard.
Pete Townshend of the Who blames his hearing problems (tinnitus and hearing
loss) on studio headphones as much as to live concerts, fwiw.
