I've been using Guitar Pro 5. Like most apps, it has its anomalies, but for
the most part it's easy to learn and use. You can enter tab or standard
notation and even switch off between them. It's easy to reassign a note to
another string. It has a lot of tunings and you can customize your tuning
and even the number of strings (4-7). You can import other formats including
PowerTab, TablEdit, and MIDI.
