Yo, Resomaniacs!
you heard right -- Super Glue... but not for your guitar.
I don't know if anyone's mentioned this on the List before, but
those annoying little vertical slits some of us get in our thumbs
in the winter that hurt and make holding the bar more of a
challenge
than it already is, are curable with Super Glue. Just get out your
little tube and squeeze little bead to the top of the applicator...
then use your fingers to squeeze the cut in your thumb together
and put that bead (drop) of Super Glue on the slit. PRESTO!!
no more soreness and it heals it up quickly... I learned that
from my father-in-law, who was a SEARS repairman and
dinged up his hands regularly.
Tom, who put an unexpected slit in his thumb last night
preparing dinner and Super Glue'd it shut... gone..
it works.
