Hi Bill McG , This is a little bouquet, but probably justifies being much
bigger if the "elistas" audience were not so busy they don't have time to
write and say so.
I want to compliment you on two features that consistently show in your
contributions. Firstly , in contrast to people like W.R. and Keith, who
ask us to accept their unsubstantiated writing off of documented history
plus peculiar interpretations of a few out - of - context words, you express
your viewpoint in logical and reasonable terms that can readily be followed
and understood.
Secondly, the gentle and patient way you help people to try and catch up
with the facts of various situations earns my admiration. I only hope that
it is appreciated, because you must put a substantial amount of time into
it. Maybe as a residue from when I did a course on journalism in my youth,
I've always treated language as an instrument that should be used with
precision. It was cultivated during the time I was liaising with 300 medics
as a Field Rep for Wyeth Pharmaceuticals in the introduction of new drugs
on to the Waikato, Bay of Plenty Territory.
Appointment times were always short, so points had to be succinct as well as
accurate and "back - up - able" if I can create a new word. Believable or
not, this strength is sometimes a weakness. I get irritated by bullshit
artists, and occasionally get the message that although what I say is
absolutely correct,Joe Bloggs dislikes the way I say it. Aren't we human
beings a funny bunch ? Do you get Electronz? If not, why not have a
complimentary sub ?

Kind regards & Yours in S.C.

Hi Wallace
Thanks for setting me right on that point. I must agree that
it is confusing when several people appear to be using the same e-mail
reference name, and I was definitely unsure of the identity of "Bill".
However your views still strike a familiar chord with me. My career and life
has involved 30 years living in the UK where I did 10 years as a research
chemist for first the Atomic Energy Authority and then two Rubber companies
before completing the academic work for an MRSC (BSc Applied Chemistry
equiv), I then moved to New Zealand where I spent the next 30 years as a
Army officer, Secondary school teacher and finally Polytech lecturer
(Tertiary). Latterly I completed a BA in History and am now doing the final
year towards completing an MA in History. I came into studying Social Credit
after leaving the Army in 1980. Prior to this political affiliations were
debarred to me as a necessary condition arising from an active Queen's
commission. Now permanently (hopefully) retired from the military I can take
an interest in political events. My actions however are still constrained to
some extent by the responsibilities imposed by holding the Queen's
commission. My interest in History allows me to access many official
documents when I conduct research, but my responsibilities as an officer of
the Queen serve to act as a restraint when I use that information if
national and international security is involved.
