In Canada Martin you have the opportunity to read and understand ALL of 
what Keynes had to say. Guelph is the institution that eventually brought 
all of his writings together.

Whilst you are right to say he was involved in orthodox economics, with 
all its unsatisfactory aspects, he also wrote, and believed many things 
that he was never able to get beyond the gatekeepers.

For instance he said that the money that he wished to see put into 
circulation should be at zero, or near zero interest. He went further. He 
called for the "Euthanasia of the Rentiers".

But in accepting the correctness of Douglas analysis he didn't need to be 
so snobbish, did he?

Then that was Keynes for you :-))
