"I have withheld from list distribution. . . . I shall insist they address questions. . . . opportunity to move forward in our extrapolation of A+B." (Bill)
You could have just gone ahead with it and avoided these heavyhanded methods.* The simple fact is, interest is a B-payment, it goes into prices, and the consumer has to be provided with money to pay the prices. Social credit as a solution to the A+B problem is an INDIRECT approach. Douglas doesn't say, "The gap is evil, destroy it at the root, prevent it from occurring"; he says, "Compensate for it as it arises."
Please extrapolate!
Michael
*I would like the rule clarified who has the right to "insist" on answers from whom. Is this a prerogative of the moderator alone?
