"My mind isnt closed to Douglas..."
-----------------------
------------------------
It appears to be closed to new (to you) perspectives
on Douglas.
"There is no point in boasting everyone can see that
the modern economy needs interest when Douglas
proposes to replace the banks money and their
interest..."
-----------------------
------------------------
A fantasy Douglas that conforms to your personal bias
and prejudice. The real Douglas never proposed to
"replace the banks' money and their interest." His
structural proposals were limited to the dividend and
discount.
"You seem more interested in defending the banks than
Douglas."
-----------------------
------------------------
The problem with banks is their policy, and you fix
that by asserting public control over policy.
Douglas' criticism was over policy, not the mechanism
and techniques of banking. You do not defend Douglas
by misrepresenting his thought.
