I notice that Peter and Marc are not even allowed to venture on a new topic. They are persona non grata, having suffered the online equivalent of transportation to the Antipodes. They are not going to be able to answer these questions to Bill's satisfaction, so this condition is tantamount to demanding they capitulate. And if they submit to this humiliation, what lesson will they have learned for the future? Don't openly disagree with Bill! If you do, and he thinks you are incorrigible, you may find yourself archived. I did NOT read the archived submissions, simply because one extra step was placed between me and them.
Personally, I didn't find the discussion on interest that interest-ing and would be glad to go on to A+B. However, Peter and Marc were not inconveniencing me or anyone else and ought to be reinstated with an apology.
