William - don't know who you are.

Sorry don't you ever invoke LD Byrne in your arguments
- had the privilege of being a pall bearer at his
funeral and also left - even in Douglas's own hand
writing - all documents - including Alberta Government
documents - which are here in Australia.

You are a money reformist without a clue as to the
practical application of Christianity to our
institutions. Something LD Byrne did - wonder why we
have the big split in the Anglican Church - 5 of the
original founders of the Continuing Faith - 6 - were
all Social Creditors - NOT MONEY REFORMERS. And who
wrote the doctrine - LD Byrne!

It comes back to philosophy - create the right climate
so that the INDIVIDUAL is made free - technical stuff
can be worked to make it work. LD Byrne one of the
most practical people I have met - crusty - but right
on.

If you ever want a good reading - give me your address
- because I republished it - "Faith, Power and Action"
and to me more powerful - just short - but a classic.
LD Byrne was a classic in thinking - and little wonder
Douglas sent him to Alberta. Ever read "The Alberta
Experiment"? - I was also responsible for publishing
it with notes - in pencil - by LD Bryrne - which is
part of the introduction.

We can all argue about the A + Plus Therom - at the
end of the day - technology goes out the window - it
is do we have freedom?

Sorry - I am a "John Blunt" Australian - also hold a
Canadian passport
-
lived there for 20 years - PLUS my Dad - Eric Dudley
Butler - former National Director of The Australian
League of Rights - one of the greatest exponents of
Social Credit - one of his best reads is "Social
Credit & Christian Philosophy" and personal friend of
LD Bryne. Was presented a few years back the original
typewriter Douglas used to write "The Monopoly of
Credit".

Get off the technical bit - just look at the
application of practical Christianity - and read what
Douglas did say - in particular some of his speeches
such as "The Policy of a Philosophy" - "Monopolist
Idea" and then - which has caused more problems -
"anti-Semitic" - "The Brief for the Prosecution" -
and book he never completed "Whose Service is Perfect
Freedom" - took me a couple years to get his daughter
to agree to publish it - and LD Byrne wrote the
Forward.

Debate what you want - but never loose site of the
PHILOSOPHY which Douglas was attempting to give us -
PRACTICAL APPLICATION of Christian philosophy to our
intuitions and monetary system to make the INDIVIDUAL
FREE.

Regards

PHILLIP D BUTLER
