Hi Joe.
Though I would not wish to argue with you on this point, you must be right
that a free citizen can "spend " their money any way they wish. If they
DID in fact choose to so do there would have to be a mechanism to allow
for the costs that such "investment" set in train.
I have not heard this compensation spelled out.
Just as I have heard few argue that such issued credit needs to be kept
out of the hands of our trading banks. They have a nasty habit of using
ANY money they can lay their hands on to fuel the notion that they "only
issue what is deposited with them ".
But then that is maybe another issue :-)
Ken.

The national dividend could be used in any way the recipient desires. =
Anything else would be an 'external control' over the individual by the =
State, or an agency of the State. So I would say "yes", it could be =
used to buy securities if that's what the recipient wants to use it for. =
But there's no doubt lots more that could be said, since how we view =
many things at present, without the SC accounting corrections, would =
most probably be viewed differently if they were in place.

Can I take a straw vote? Did Douglas intend that the National =
Dividend could be used to buy securities? Yes or no.
