Hi Bill.
I am sorry to say that I have trouble with my blood pressure even at the
mention of the LSE :-(((
It is amazing just how many of the worlds second tier money people got
their training at that establishment. And I think the fact that so narrow
a range of options within their closed world is allowed should not
surprise us.
But it is the sheer two faced hypocrisy of the place that gets me. If you
have any contact, or you actually visit, it presents the bland face of
reason and liberal clarity.
In fact William Beveridge himself, one of my own party s members, and who
was Director of this institution from 1919 to 1937, and blew the whistle
on the backers, wrote, and lectured critically of the private creation of
our money, but at the same time taking their Kings Shilling :-(
Ken.

Hi Ken
Thanks for your comment. You amplify comments I have made about
the LSE to Joe. I had forgotten about that little twist in the history of
the school. It certainly explains why it is so dogmatic in its opposition
toalternative ways of explaining economic theories. It also explains their
devotion to supporting an international finacial system that protects the
"developed world" at the expense of the"developing world".
