You are still obsessing over the label. I do not assume that a person labeled "Muslim" has "veered off" and I have not. I do not assume that Christ will not recognize a person labeled "Muslim" as his follower. He knows his own, and I don't think he cares about the label. I don't think he cares about the profession of doctrines: those are just ripples on the surface of the pond. I think he cares about the heart's marrow and the true spiritual salt. You can get that message from the New Testament, but I believe you can also get it without it, direct from Him in Whose arms we live.
