Despite many delays, Robert Johnson's history dissertation on Charles Ferguson for Union Theological Seminary, Richmond, Virginia, is nearing completion. He is working feverishly to complete the draft by March 1, after which there will be comments by me and his advisors and then the final draft. He is working from Lahore University, Pakistan, where he and his family are on a two-year mission to help this once-great Presbyterian seat of learning regain accreditation.
I am very excited about this dissertation/biography and its implications for Douglas's religious/philosophical background.
