I am working from our NZ "Consumer Price Index", set up by people with great
economic knowledge except that, presumably at the behest of the banks, house
mortgages were removed as an item some years ago. I presume other civilised
nations have similar statistics.
Cost-push inflation is quite real, not mythological, with our present soaring
fuel prices.
And put yourself in the place of the author of a dictionery. For definitions
you would go to experts. Perhaps this is another example of warped expertise in
the field of economics?
