(Joe replies:-) How are they any better? Consumer prices there are still
kept inordinately high there. And we aren't exactly making an honest
comparison if we're trying to equate Japan to here. The overall culture, in
particular the outlook in regards to the relationships between the
'individual' and the 'group', is substantially different.
