Hi Jim,
I hope in our critique of Vic's "Outline" any criticisms I may offer will be
taken as intended. To be 'constructive' ones. And hopefully lead to a
full discussion and greater enlightenment on all the points covered.
To me, Vic Bridger, along with Wally Klinck, are two of the 'giants' of the
Social Credit Movement. They have both dedicated themselves to keeping
Douglas's ideas alive. And for that, at least, if nothing else, and there
is a great deal 'else', we all owe them an enormous debt of gratitude.
As I'm sure Vic would tell us himself, though, in Social Credit ''there is
only one Master". And that was Douglas himself. So far, as we examine and
attempt to interpret just what he did say, I haven't seen any evidence that
Douglas's understanding was 'wrong'. Only that there may be several ways to
take what he did say, some of which may indeed be 'wrong'. Or not. It's
for us to try to sort out '"what works best". He's given us the 'tools',
but it's up to us finish the job.
