Hi Keith,
I believe ''Social Credit'' first appeared in 1924,
and there was another printing in the early 1930's which included the
"Draft Plan for Scotland." It (the first edition) pre-dates the
first edition of "Warning Democracy".
There were three editions of ''Warning Democracy",
and I believe the second edition had a change. A
short addition to what we know as the second of Douglas's three
'Swanwick Principles', ("new credits for new production"), regarding the
recall of those credits. In the third edition this addition was
removed.
"Warning Democracy", like Douglas's earlier "The
Control and Distribution of Production", seems to be a collection of various
articles written and addresses made by him earlier, and then composed into
a full length book.
Regards,
Joe

Democracy
I see in flipping pages that Hoover had just been
inaugurated as President, so that dates it for me. Same year as
Social Credit, apparently.

I don't see a year of publication for "Warning > Democracy", but have a
notion that it was considerably > more recent than the apparent 1933
date for "Social > Credit". Can you prop up my failing memory,
please? > > Keith Wilde > > >
