Thanks, Bill. It's unfortunate that Prof. Werner has misunderstood you, and
has reacted the way he has. I would've looked forward to reading what he's
written in the Chapter mentioned, either in whole or in part, or even more
on his position if he had chosen to elaborate further on it separately from
his published work.

I don't believe anyone on this List would take your initial comments on
'anti-semitism' to him as any kind of accusation that he is in any way
anti-semitic.

It would also have been quite enlightening to all if he had taken up your
offer to discuss "A+B" versus the "debt virus"
interest-is-the-cause-of-the-problem position I take it he seems to favour.

Perhaps you could tell us briefly , since you've read his book, just what is
the solution he proposes.

Joe

> Joe, the fair use doctrine permits excerpting brief quotations from
published texts for scholarly purposes. I think excerpting a complete
chapter might be pushing the limits of the doctrine. It is also possible
that Professor Werner could not grant permission even if he wanted to,
inasmuch as publishers often control the copyrights of the works they are
publishing. But he is probably reluctant to grant permission, if this
recent reply from him is any indication. After a quick reading he took my
recent post as accusing him of antisemitism, which was not my intention.
Shortly after sending that message to me, he sent the following in I think a
fit of petulance:

fraudulent historical origin of banking and continued dubious practice
today. First you need to become aware of this reality. I explain it in
chapter 12 of New Paradigm.

for writing it and making it available.

> (Joe Thomson asks):- Would it be possible to reproduce "chapter 12 of New
Paradigm" in whole, or the relevant parts of it here, so that we all might
read it? Or would this violate the copyright? Perhaps, considering the
very interesting discussion you've been having with Richard, he might give
permission, since it might help to further explain his position?
