Yes, don’t forget the independents and what they can do for young people. What about a young independent like myself??. At 21 years old, I have had much experience involved in community activities and the government youth decision making/involvement activities. Quite frankly I think we have a long way to go in developing authentic ways of involving young people in decision making processes.

No, the political parties do not do much for our youth!!! There is not votes in youth.

However, I'm hoping to change that.

You may be aware of the not for profit, independent, teenage committee that I founded in Ulverstone Tasmania - Enormity, "Concepts of Great Wickedness", who conduct the national, public appeal for the donation of unwanted winter coats for the homeless and needy of Australia and soon New Zealand (just launched there). Enormity has been running 9 years.

I mention this as I am running as a Tasmanian Independent candidate for the Senate and youth is not only my background, it is extemely high on my priority list.

Young people are today's consultants for tomorrow's world.
