The City is seeking two dedicated people to fill
existing roles in Redfern and Woolloomooloo. We are seeking candidates who
are highly experienced in the development and delivery of programs for young
people and have outstanding leadership skills. A commitment to
providing relevant community focused projects and experience in direct youth
services is essential.
Competent administrative skills, computer literacy and an
understanding and commitment to Occupational Health and Safety, Cultural
Diversity and Equal Employment Opportunities will be required to competently
undertake this role.

This is a unique opportunity to combine two of your
passions and demonstrate your all round abilities as a Youth Worker.
Experience in delivery of youth programs, youth support, information and
referral services and establishing links with other youth agencies is
essential.
A major project for this position is to manage the Lights
Camera Action project; a youth employment initiative assisting local indigenous
youth to gain acting work in the film and television industry. An
immediate goal for the role will be to develop strategic partnerships to assist
the project to become self sufficient.
This position attracts a starting salary of $53,268 pa (band
4) pro rata plus superannuation and will be offered as a part time position (29
hrs p/wk) for 12 months.
