Hi everyone,
I wanted to spread the word about a
fantastic project Amnestry International are running which is using music to
engage people with their international campaign work. Yoko Ono has given Amnesty
the rights to all John Lennon's work and bands such as Black Eyed Peas, The
Postal Service, The Cure and Snow Patrol have recorded new versions of his
classic songs which are available to listen to and buy at the Make Some Noise
website - www.amnesty.org/noise
"Music speaks the language of freedom,
revolution and solidarity. Without that freedom - without music that is angry,
joyful and necessary - we are nothing." - Yoko Ono
Check it out
:)
Cheers!
Tom
