Hi Luke,
I run a couple of young people groups and find that SMS reminders work
very well. Young people seem more likely to reply to SMS reminders about
meetings, time dates etc even to let me know that they will be unable to
attend. I would strongly recommend the use of SMS reminders with groups
of young people. E-mail reminders work very well also, but it seems to
take YP longer to reply in this format.

I am looking into the use of SMS as a tool to communicate to young
people in terms of reminders about appointments and notifications, but
