Hi all,
I'm working on a story for Girlfriend magazine ( http://www.girlfriend.com.au) profiling girls who have taken their love of a band/TV show/book etc and gotten
artistically active. I've filled most of the niches I need to already, but am
still looking for a girl aged 12-19 who:
a) writes her own songs;
b) sings or plays in a band; or
c) sings or plays as a soloist
...of the rock/pop/hip-hop/r'n'b/electronic persuasion.
Basically, the story would involve a short phone/email interview with her about
what she does, what inspired her to go from listening to music to creating it,
and advice for other girls who want to do the same. I'll also need a 300 DPI
photo of her to accompany the profile.
If you know anyone who fits the bill, please pass this along. I need to
complete the story by the end of the week, so the sooner they get in touch, the
better.
Many thanks,
Rachel
