Hi there,
I am hoping to make contact with any youth workers who work with indigenous
young people (any age) who help support a family member (could be parents,
grandparents, siblings, aunties/ uncles) who are ill/disabled, have a mental
illness or drug/alcohol problem.
The kind of support the young person could give might be helping out more at
home, taking their relative to the doctor, giving them medication, missing
school
to look after them, paying bills etc, or they might provide emotional support.
We are looking to develop some resources for indigenous young people and
service providers caring for someone in their family.
