Leading with the Heart begins with a 3-day residential workshop that will enable you to:
- Strengthen your resilience to face up to global ecological challenges
- Harness inner wisdom to create new ways of living and reduce ecological footprint
- Build rational, emotional and spiritual intelligence
- Learn how to listen deeply and question strategically
- Connect and create communities of change with reach from local to global
Sue and Colin Lennox (Oz GREEN Co-founders) lead by example and are recognised as leading social entrepreneurs in Australia. They each bring over 30 years of experience and professional qualifications in environmental education, health promotion, social enterprise and community engagement gained on the ground in urban and rural settings in Australia and Internationally in India, East Timor, Papua New Guinea and Pakistan. They are backed up by a team of passionate professionals, trainee facilitators and mentors, each of whom is successfully implementing their own life changes and projects.
Leading with the Heart 3 day residential workshop includes:
- State of the world, ecological footprint assessment and lifestyle impact analysis;
- Strategic questioning and deep listening skills training;
- Self awareness, life stories and leadership development;
- Creative thinking, values and visioning;
- Goal setting and planning for lifestyle changes and eco-social action.
There are also opportunities to train as mentors and facilitators for Youth LEAD* – Oz GREEN’s award winning youth environmental leadership program and opportunities to volunteer in Oz GREEN programs within Australia and Internationally. (*Youth LEAD is being documented as a case study in best practice education for sustainability by the Australian Association for Environmental Education and was a national winner of Social Ventures Australia BIG Boost).

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Cancellations must be made by phone with one of our staff. If you cancel your reservation more than five days before the workshop, your payment will be transferred to a credit account to be used within one year. If you cancel with less than five days’ notice, the same applies, minus a non-refundable $50 to cover our costs. Also, Oz GREEN is a registered charity and any donation over $2 is tax deductible.
