Are you a Victorian not-for-profit organisation that successfully recruits, trains and retains young volunteers?

How would you like a share of $50,000?

The Ampersand Network is a dynamic youth-led organisation working to improve the appeal and accessibility of volunteering for young people (www.ampersand.org.au).

This year we are seeking to enlist the support of young people to raise funds for five not-for-profit organisations with a proven track record in providing quality volunteer experiences for young people.

The inaugural Ampersand Walk is a team endurance event that will be held on Saturday 6^th October. An estimated 500 young people from the Ampersand Network's extensive supporter base will complete a 30km circuit around Melbourne's Capital City Trail, and earn sponsorship dollars for whichever of the five nominated organisations they choose to support.

A fortnight ago the team won a $5,000 grant from the Foundation for Young Australians to get the project underway.
