Fundraiser with a Difference
Youth organisation, Millennium Kids is
holding their first fundraiser (in eleven years of operation). Millennium
Kids is a youth-run environmental organisation that supports young people make
a difference to their local and global environment. The
organisation just won the Group Citizenship Awards at the WA Youth Awards
during National Youth Week.
A Taste of Africa is the brainchild of 19 year old, Kate Laurendi, who is one of the
3 youth presidents of the organisation. Kate developed this
project to raise funds for the Millennium Kids projects in South Africa. Tickets are
$100 and 100% of proceeds go towards the environmental projects in South Africa.
Please come and enjoy this event – there will be no auctions or
fundraising on the night, the price of your ticket is your valued contribution
– it will be a true celebration of life and diversity
